Un sereno en el cementiri de l’art is the first essay published by Poncianes. The author’s offering approaches the theory of the art of literature using a philosophical language, cryptical but at the same time deeply reflective. The volum gives voice to Vicenç’s dialogue with some of the crucial personalities of the artistic revolution of the 20th century. From the Noucentisme to poststructuralism, Altaió stops at the first and the second avant-garde movements, explaining how the shift from one to the other took place. After Dau al Set, Zush, Jaar and Galdón take the stage. Throughout the book we find all the big names of plastic arts, Dalí, Miró or Calder, among others, together with the masters of the poetical revolt of the written word: Eugeni d’Ors, J.V. Foix and Joan Brossa. Interviews with Antoni Tàpies, Arnau Puig, Pere Portabella, Albert Ràfols-Casamada, Alfredo Jaar, Hannah Collins, Jordi Colomer and Jaume Josa complete the volume.
